Weight loss injections?

Today was the first time I ever heard of this. Not sure if the name exactly. But has anyone ever had these or heard of it? Good? Bad? Experiences? I will take any advice. Im not sure if it’s the route I wanna go yet… just want opinions and experiences from Others.

Wegovy or saxenda are the brand name options. They are expensive and can have a number of side effects. You still need to watch your diet and exercise when you are on them. They aren’t a magic bullet.

My husband is on Ozempic for his type 2 diabetes. One of the side effects/benefits is appetite suppression and he has lost a lot of weight. But, it is prescribed and has some not so great side effects…

Like prescription medicine? Wegovy is the one I’ve seen (I work for a pharmacy) but it’s HELLA expensive and a lot of insurances won’t pay for it
