So my bf and I have been dating for almost two years now. I have caught him in many lies but kind of just pushed them aside. We took a break a few months ago and he like jumped to another girl who lives 5 hours away. Then tried hiding it from me but finally told me the truth a few weeks after we ended our break.

He then just told me tonight how he texted his ex gf four days ago to wish her a happy birthday. Looked into my eyes and told me the conversation they had. I asked if he had the messages still and he said yes so i asked to see them. He gave me the phone and the conversation they had lasted about an hour long. saying how he misses her and how they were. and her literally telling him he needs to tell me they spoke in respect for me and he agreed. but never did. i got upset about him lying to my face about it not even the fact that they spoke. i also have been staying at his house for almost two months now. so their conversation happened while i was at my job working an 11 hour shift. i came home and he hugged me and kissed me hello saying how much he missed me that day. he told me the reason he didn’t tell me was bc he was scared of how i was gonna react. meanwhile his mother told him to delete the messages so i wouldnt find out.
