It’s been 2-3months and baby STILL doesn’t sleep properly at nighg
Baby is 7.5 months old!
She just always wakes up after 45mins of sleeping and wants to suckle. I’ve tried to just hold her and gently press her little chest down in place when she’s looking to suckle at nighg, but she fights hard with her eyes closed to find me, and then Eventually rolls onto her belly, which wakes her up. The maximum I’ve had her sleep without waking up or looking to suckle at night is 1.5hrs
My whole body, especially my right side, kills because I lie on my right side to feed her, as I have a bed rail on this side too.
We do usually sleep her at the same time each night but it’s been quite hot recently so her clock has been off (plus excitable grandparents who want to love her and a husband that doesn’t want to inconvenience his parents) but still she doesn’t sleep constantly. I’ve tried white noise, keeping it dark, keeping it silent, keeping it bright but she isn’t sleeping longer than 1.5hrs without suckling for 20mins and goin back to sleep. Every time I was putting her back in her crib afterwards, she would wake up, so now she sleeps with me in my bed
Edit: eg Ok so it’s now 9.57pm here, and after nursing her to sleep, left her on her own, securely in, but around her to keep an eye. She stirred in her sleep after 50mins of sleeping and now woke up, hysterical, crying. And I’m trying to nurse her back to sleep and she’s sucking then Coming off, looking at me with tearful eyes, struggling to nurse. Her eyes are wide open as she’s nursing and she’s upset 😞
