How did you / will you tell your parents you're pregnant?

Are you just going to tell them? Get them a gift? Do something?
My husband wants to buy some buns and hide them in their ovens when they are not looking, then say "hey, is that a bun in the oven?" Or something along those lines. Lol. I'm not sure on this one! 😅

We were at my mothers for dinner. I turned down the wine saying I would be the one driving home. As we were eating I asked how the wine was. She told me that it was good and that I could just taste some. I responded with “I’m not allowed to for another eight months.” Took a few seconds for her to get it. 😅

We got our parents and siblings cards that said something like 'the best parents get promoted to grandparents'! They were fairly cheap from thortful.co.Uk and something they have all saved

I didn’t do anything special really. Just kind of said it and showed them the ultrasound photo. But that’s how I am with all life announcements.

We're taking our daughter with a sister shirt to dinner tonight to tell them 😬
Our first was in the middle of COVID lockdown, so we called and told them. My mom always answers the phone hi and then asks you how you're doing and I said: "could be better" and she asked what was wrong and I told her this morning sickness has really got me struggling. She freaked 🤪 I expect this to go similarly 😂

For my first, we told his mom with a picture frame with an ultrasounds picture. The picture frame said count down until I’m here with a chalk board spot to write the weeks. Did my parents I got them a little box and put a blueberry in and included a note saying, I may be small now, but I love you already grandma and grandpa. Both were well received❤️

The first pregnancy we got onesies that said I love grandma and grandpa, but with second pregnancy I just told them on the phone 😂
