Did you feel nauseous/sick before labor?

I’m 37+1 today and I’m so uncomfortable hoping labor starts soon. I currently feel nauseous and like a constant sick feeling but not full on cramping. I haven’t actually felt hungry since yesterday around lunch but I’ve been eating small amounts to keep my energy up. I’ve been trying not to read into things too much but I’m wondering if this is something people actually experience before labor or if it’s just an ‘old wives’ tale’ type of sign.

I did but I was early, I didn’t realize it was preterm labor, I thought I was just dehydrated, summer time in the desert valley carrying twins, turned out I was in active labor. I wasn’t vomiting, I just felt off, crampy, achy, needing to rest a lot, generally uncomfortable, headache, dizzy, nauseous… I new I needed to head to labor and delivery cause I had more than 6 Braxton hicks within the hour and changing positions and drinking water didn’t help them get better.. when in doubt call the on call ob or nurse line for insight. They can advise you what to look for. At least you made it to full term. Congratulations.

On the day of labor I completely emptied out my body at the start. I had no control.

Same thing my sister in law does right before delivered. She throw up during contractions and labor. She delivered identical twin boys natural and in which my twin nephews born. She don’t want to eat anything while in labor and delivery. She ate right after delivered.
