How many weeks were you when u started buying things for baby?

Im 17 weeks...  i do plan on having a baby shower but i been thinking about buying things here and there up until then.when did you guys start?

We waited until beyond 30 weeks. I barely brought any of it home and left a lot of the expensive stuff at the shop as I was terrified of something going wrong

I started buying after I found out the gender at 12 weeks through the NIPT.

I waited until like 32+weeks with all my kids… I knew family would give a lot so no reason to buy things until I was closer to due date. Lol 😂 good thing none of my kids came before 39wks 5days lol

After the baby shower. With my first people bought most of what was on my registry and sometimes you can get a discount on the remaining items. Amazon gives 15% last time I checked but it was a 1 time thing for the maker of the registry so you want to wait until after everyone has purchased what they want to.
