Booked in for an induction

I’m currently 38 weeks, my doctor said she was happy with how everything is looking and bubs is going well.

She’s booked me in to get induced next week, I don’t know whether to be happy or sad.

I thought I’d have 2 more weeks but now I have a week and he will be here.

I just don’t get why I have to get induced at 39 weeks when everything is looking good

I feel like because I signed paperwork I can’t but I just don’t think his ready to come out het
