My dad makes me feel like a burden

It’s absolutely amazing. My father lives in my house with his girlfriend and pays nothing. We had agreed that he would watch my kids instead of paying rent which was fine. But what was supposed to be 3 months turned into 3 years. He’s constantly critical and overbearing, breaks the rules of my house (smoking in my garage), and complains.

I’m a widow and now single mom of 3 after my husband passed 3 months ago. I just had my third baby a week ago and I thought surely my father would be willing to step in and help me but nope. Today my baby boy got circumcised and I asked my dad if I could have some extra help around today because he’s going to be fussy and my dad just sighed. He sighed as if that’s some huge ask when he literally does nothing all day!!

I am trying so hard to not hold it against him but my father has done nothing but take advantage of me since he moved here and I’m so tired of it.

I want him to move out but I can’t seem to gather the guts to tell him that. Idk what to do
