I didn’t know that people putting beta fishes in bowls was bad until I planned to buy one and my friend was like no! No no no! That’s awful and inhumane! And I’m like dang okay girl I haven’t even gotten the fish yet but I will do better and research.

So i go online and research and do everything right. My beta fish had an expensive ass kingdom with a water warmer and everything he needed

And he flourished at first. Then he got what I think was FIN ROT AND DIED AND I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW HE GOT FIN ROT BC I DID EVERYTHING ALL MY RESEARCH TOLD ME TO DO WITH THIS BETA FISH

I’m just. Not doing well okay, not at all.

And I thought I could get a little fish because it’s the only pet I can get that I’m not allergic to and I did everything right and I was trying to like self soothe by making this little fish have this brilliant lavish life after living in a fucking cup at the store and he still freaking died in his giant water tank kingdom that resembled what his home would look like in the wild with clean warm water.

At least he died a king. RIP
