Birth control

Hey all.

I am currently 5 1/2 weeks pp with my 2nd child. And my first just turned one. I love my kids but I do not want/need another pregnancy right now. Exploring my options and getting some advice on the best birth control. I have always had awful periods, and I know everyone is different but since I didn’t get a tubal as planned I want to take all precautions necessary. I got pregnant on the pill x2. Even tho I took it religiously. I’ve had numerous different birth controls, but willing to try again. Opinions/advice on the IUD/mirena?
