Free Sperm Donors

So I have started looking for a sperm donor on fb and the "just a baby" app. I have read some horror stories and come out of a da relationship so feeling very wary. Any advice on what to look for to make sure a donor is legit or not. I read about a donor deliberately infecting a recipient with HIV and now I am terrified. I know that is not the norm but it happens and I want to be a safe as possible 🙏 I am uk based BTW. Thanks in advance for any advice 😅
