what can I give my poor 5 month for a cold?

My 5 month old is congested and is coughing. I'm already using a humidifier and a nose Frida. is there anything else I can do for her? it brakes my heart to see her this way.

No cold medicines are safe for babies regardless of what they say. Most of those homeopathic remedies aren’t backed by science and can contain bad ingredients as they aren’t vetted by the FDA.  
You could try saline drops before the frida because it will loosen the mucus and get more out. But I wouldn’t give them untested medication that young.

Went through this with our first. 24 hr pediatrician line said no meds. The coughing is good. It moves the mucus up and out of their lungs. Humidifier or even running a hot shower and sitting in the steamy bathroom for a minute with them. Saline in the nose, suck it out. The saline helps loosen it up.

Don't give cold meds to any kid even adults should stay away from cold meds because it doesn't help but instead keeps the mucus from coming all out which can lead to infection so cool humidifier and if any other symptoms like fever I would give pain meds but I personally stay away from it
