Pacifier

Hi moms, so my baby is a week old and is EBF. This is a whole new territory for me as my first was bottle fed. My question is when did you introduce a pacifier if you breastfed? I know the AAP recommends waiting about a month to avoid nipple confusion, but did anyone introduce it sooner? Our pedi said not to worry about nipple confusion and that they figure it out. What was your experience?
