Is chamomile tea safe?

I don’t drink much tea but when I do it’s chamomile tea and I read that it’s bad for baby?? Anyone know if this is true or not?? I’m worried. Please if u actually know the reason why it’s bad and not just off reading on google🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Most herbal teas (including chamomile) have been found to be unsafe for pregnancy in extremely high doses. By high dose, I mean that most studies look at the effect of plant extracts (i.e. chamomile extract), not the effect of a cup a tea.
So to summary, you're *probably* safe as long as it's only a cup or 2 every now and then, but it really comes down to your comfort level on whether or not to drink it.

I was soooo weird pregnant… 8 years n one loss… so I didn’t… no chamomile or ginger or pineapple n I slept sitting up n was picky about everything

Most herbal teas should be avoided during pregnancy including what your wanting to drink. So dont drink it. Black tea or green tea is fine, but past that nope
