Since my first pregnancy five years ago I’ve dealt with a recurring hemorrhoid that would flare up every so often and bother me for a day or two but nothing too crazy. It left a skin tag in the spot it will bulge but it’s never been too much of an issue just a little annoying when it flares up and I don’t love the skin tag. But I just had a new one pop up that has been bulging and hard and hurting and really bothering me for four days and it’s not getting better. I bought ointment for the first time and it helps a little but I’m still hurting and very uncomfortable all day. I’m not even sure why it happened I haven’t been straining or anything. What happens now? It’s not getting better and I honestly don’t want to deal with this again. I’ll be calling my dr on Tuesday since tomorrow is a holiday but I’m so done with this. I can’t go off to sit in hot water all the time I have young kids to care for and that’s basically the only thing I’ve read to help. Is surgery my only option? Do they do surgery for this or does it have certain qualifications?
