One and done or maybe two?

I am in a dilemma, so If you were the same how did you decide?

I can’t decide if I want to have another one or we are done with the one we have.

On one side I would love to have another baby and a sibling for my son but our son is 18 months old and finally I feel like I am not just a mom anymore if that makes sense to anyone?

Yes he is currently in his terrible two’s already apparently but he is also more and more independent, starting to play on his own for a short time, really funny and feels like my best friend.

And I am finally finding myself again, I have some free time, he sleeps through the night.

For what feels like even before he was born it was all about the baby, and breastfeeding and this and that always baby related stuff.

I miss being something more than a mom??? 😕

I want to have another but the thought of breastfeeding, pumping and bottles and spit ups is not that exciting for me.

Not to mention the pregnancy. Had pretty bad depression during and was so miserable whole time.

I was an onlychild and it can be lonly, we don’t have any family around us, it is just us. And my husband says it would be nice to have another one (he helps more that enough so that was not the issue).

I am 27 so I am not running out of time but I thought if I have two it would maybe be better to have them close together? For them to play together? I don’t know, never had a sibling but my husband has two brothers pretty close in age but otherwise talk maybe once a year.
