Postpartum mom's: is normal to have two periods back to back week apart??

I have given birth July 19th. I bleed that day all way to beginning of August. I stopped bleeding completely. Spotted 13th of August. Started my period or do I thought Sunday 28th of August and it lasted til the 1st of Sept. It was light/medium with some small clots here and there. I did take birth control pills for two days but it made sick the beginning of the week so Sunday and Monday so I stopped taking it. But I'm bleeding again? And my right ovary is hurting lightly. And this "period" is super light. Last week period was a normal period for me. This period isn't. If its a period.
