Emergency room to induction?

Hey guys, was wondering if I walk into my local ER tomorrow (my 39 week mark) and beg them to Induce me, will they do it? Does anyone have any experience in this?

The er does not deliver. You would be sent to the maternity ward and then your ob would be called. An induction usually is not done unless medically necessary, or discussed and planned with your ob ahead of time. If your ob is already against it, and your baby is not in danger, chances are you would just be sent home. Is there a reason you want to be induced?

Going into the emergency room won’t do anything, call
Your ob and explain your pain and that you need your induction booked in. They’ll sort it with maternity but you’ll just get sent home from er x

The ER won’t induce you; that would be L&D. They aren’t going to induce you for a pupp rash. They generally don’t induce just because.

i’m not too sure they would induce you, with my first i had her at 40 + 1 weeks. but i have heard of maybe trying to pump can naturally induce you and cause your uterus to contract to put you into labor.
