When do you not want more?!

Question

I have 4 kids (6, 4, 2, & 6 months)
 My hubby and I always said 4 was what we wanted. I was soaking up this pregnancy, birth, all the baby milestones because I tell myself it's the last (and it's all been the best yet).... BUT I want more. My husband would do whatever I wanted, honestly, because he trusts my judgment and unless he just thinks I'm crazy he will go with it. 
So... My question is... Did you ever feel like you were done having kids? Does the baby fever ever go away?? 
I don't want one right now because it's just not what we need, but I have a solid 5-7 baby baking years left. 
HELP LOL.

Yes, the baby fever goes away. If your even remotely on the fence about having more kids then I’d say leave that option open. I had the fever at one point in my life and now it’s gone, my youngest are 5, I can honestly say I don’t have any desire for more, I don’t get all googly eyed when I see a baby, newborn cries trigger my anxiety, I feel overcooked in the baby department, I don’t wanna babysit nobody’s kids, I Am Done ✔️… you’ll know when your done too 😉

Pregnancy and birth is the absolute worst for me.
That helps. But it's very obviously biologically coded in me to want more. I cannot get my head wrapped around this baby bring my last. But she has to be. My body and both me and my husband's mental health wouldnt do well with more. So that's how we know, that we are done.

In my case I was getting older and thought I'd try for one more since I was an all girl mom ( 4 ) straight girls, then bam I got pregnant with twins and 1 boy and 1 girl, total 6 kids... Yes I am done, tubes were removed. I'm glad I tried one more time, I did get my boy but that's just me, it was my hardest pregnancy tho with twins and gestational diabetes but I carried them to 37 weeks considered full term and considering I also got COVID at 20 weeks pregnant! 🙏

Love my son to death, love being a Mom, I love babies but I'm pretty sure I'm one and done. It just works for us. But the biological want to have more is always there.

I only want 3. Only because I don’t want to spend my entire life taking care of so many kids. That’s just me though. I’m on my third kid and honestly that’s enough for me. When these children get older they get more expensive, regardless if I have the money. I want to love and live my life in the near future. You do what works but how many children do you want?

I didn’t want anymore when the endo and adeno took over my life. Not fair to the kids I do have let alone anymore more. And it would have just made my body more physically fucked up. I would have liked four maybe but life didn’t work that way.

My mom told me when she looked at her fifth baby when he was born she knew he was the last… she had a hysterectomy soon after because she was so sure….I had my third 5 months ago and I don’t have that feeling so I hope I can get my husband on board with baby number 4… I have 3 child bearing years left so hoping for 2 more babies before I shut this factory down lol
