Would you take kids camping?

Question

Would you go by yourself if you could go on a three day getaway camping trip log cabin or would you take kids?
Any advice if you have taken kids or not taken them on vacation?

I don’t camp so no, I wouldn’t go, with or without my kids. 
But if I did enjoy camping, I’d take my kids along if they would have fun too. I know my daughter would hate it, so it would be a no-go. She needs complete silence other than white noise and will only sleep in a bed. Camping would be miserable for her so I wouldn’t go if my kids would hate it.

Totally up to you!  There’s no right answer.  The two experiences will be totally different and it just depends on what you and your partner need.  Both would be so fun and wonderful.  Enjoy!!!

We vacation A LOT😂 Our kids are 2 and 1 and are only going on their first vacation in November haha (and their second one in December).  Soooo I’m gonna say I’d opt to go alone. But I also take about 4/5 girls trips thru the year and 6 vacations with my husband (and/or couples), so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I’m likely always gonna err on the side of sans children🤪

It depends. My husband and I always do a family trip and a just us trip. We stay on a resort in the winter for a weekend every year and usually do a trip just us in the summer. Family vacations are important but our kids are 1 and 4 and reconnecting as a couple is just as important to us.

Depends. I have traveled all over the world with my kids including places that we had to camp, hike, or climb. We started when they were little so they are used to it but I also go on trips with just friends or my hubbs sometimes. It depends on the trip and your kids.

Some of my best memories growing up are of camping with my family when we were little. There was 4 of us and it was always stressful for my mom especially but after the set up and tear down she really has fond memories of it.

Depends on what else there is to do and the purpose of the trip. We enjoy camping and took our 2 and 4 year olds on an 8 day camping trip this summer. We’ll do it again next summer as well. But we also go on camping trips just the two of us when we’re going to more extreme climates or terrain that they wouldn’t do as well in.
