Hello everyone!!! I got the implant in August 2019 after having baby #4. I had my regular post partum periods and then they stopped completely. Come December 2021 my periods return with a vengeance. Regularly with a 44 day cycle. (Tried to make an appt but was having insurance issues) some places say implant lasts UP TO 3 years. Other say 3-5 years. So I keep living my life, getting regular periods. Fast forward to now. My period is 15ish days late. If going by 44 day cycle I would've ovulated 8/14 and I was definitely intimate with hubby that weekend. That combined with some cramping and other PMS (sudden acne, fatigue, back ache) for the past 10 days or so. No period. Negative test. I have an appt coming up but what do you all think?? Has anyone's implant run out of hormones at the 3 year mark exactly? Or even before?! Or is it that it must've run out and my body is readjusting??? I'm freaking out!
