Anyone go into labor without losing their mucus plug?

My first baby, the only sign I had of labor was losing my mucus plug. Anyone go into labor without losing theirs? If so, many weeks + days were you when you delivered?

Just know the mucus plug is not actually a plug. It’s just a continuous creation of mucus in the cervix. If the same fluid was in there for nine months, we’d have a lot of issues…. It just “comes out” as a bunch of CM. Some don’t have a bunch of CM come out until labor and some have a bunch of CM for the last few weeks. This upped amount of CM is from the cervix opening after being shut during the course of the pregnancy. Once it opens, (starts to dilate) you’ll get CM. Both are normal!

I had no indication she was on her way until my water broke! I was at the doctor 3 days before and there was no sign of her coming at all at that point

I lost mine with my last while I was in labor just a few minutes before my water broke.

I didn't lose mine until transition with both of my labors not a single noticeable chunk the entire time. My labors just start with contractions that wake me up and get more intense and consistent. I never experience bh either. My water doesn't even break until transition.

With my first I lost it the day before I started contractions and labor , and I'm 35 weeks now with my second and im waiting for any signs in the coming weeks

I didn’t lose my mucus plug with my second. I had her at 40+3 weeks.
