Submucosal Fibroid Removal and TTC

Hi everyone I just joined this group. My fertility specialist suspects I have a 1.6 cm submucosal fibroid. I have a hysteroscopy scheduled for next month to see if this is the case. If if is, he will remove it then and there.

My question is for anyone that has had a submucosal fibroid, how long did you have to wait before your doctor gave you the all clear to try getting pregnant?

I’m worried that I’ll have to wait 3 months after it’s removed (if the doctor wants it removed) to be able to try but time is if the essence as I just turned 39.

Any advice from others with this same type of fibroid ?
