Breastfeeding - FTM

Hello everyone,

Im a FTM and our little boy (surprise gender) made his appearance 3 days ago after a long 24hr labour.

I'm just looking for a little advise. I know baby will tell me when he's hungry but he seems to be just letting me feed him whenever. Midwife has weighed and all is good.

I just want to know when your working out how many hrs have passed between feeds do you start from when the feeding started or ended? So if 1 feed was 12pm-12.10pm and the next started at 3pm and finished at 3.30 would say it was 3 hrs between feeds?

I know I'm over thinking but just want to know how people work it out.
