When did you drive postpartum?

How many weeks after vaginal delivery did you drive? I heard it’s two weeks no driving but some ppl don’t wait that long? What are the risks of driving a week sooner??

Immediately. It's a vaginally delivery, not a C-section so you don't need to wait.

I've had 4 vaginal deliveries & was never told not to drive. I drove days after birth just fine. As long as you're not on strong pain meds you can drive.

I tried driving 2 days after giving birth when I released from the hospital and it was tough. Uncomplicated vaginal birth. I was tired, maybe the pain meds still played a part. Not sure but I highly advise against it.

It's really best to wait at least 2 weeks.   You'll feel better and it's much safer.   The issue is no matter how hard you try if you are sore and or weak your response time/ reflexes are slower amd therefore make driving hazardous.      
I was cleared 2 weeks pp after a csection but I could just tell my body wasnt ready so I held off another week and even after that only drove if absolutely necessary until I was 6weeks pp

I wasn’t given driving limitations. 2 weeks is for c sections.

They told me whenever I was comfortable to drive it was fine. I think I drove the same day I left the hospital

I drove the day I went home lol I can't stand being the passenger. And I was never told to not drive for two weeks.

I was never told that lol I waited maybe like a week a best. Both times I was pretty much ba k to most regular activity pretty quickly so I was driving when I felt up to it lol
