Depends o the route you take. You can get a sneak peek test pretty early (they say six weeks but 8 seems to be more reliable). If you do Theo me that you do at home though, be careful as it can be contaminated and give a false result. A NIPT blood test can be done by your doctor as early as 10 weeks and usually takes a week or two to come back. It’s the most accurate method to determine gender, even better than ultrasounds. Via ultrasounds, you can sometimes tell around 14ish weeks. But 16-20 is about when they become more definitive.

With my oldest found our her gender at 15w2d my youngest found out her gender at 18w2d that's just when my ob scheduled that ultrasound 🤷🏽‍♀️ all depends when they schedule it tbh I've never had that ultrasound go to 20w or later that's just my ob tho

It depends. Blood test is usually around 12 weeks but some can tell you sooner than that. By ultrasound it's usually around 20 weeks but some doctors will tell you sooner than that or offer their opinions on gender earlier than 20 weeks. I've never had an ob or midwife tell me earlier than 20 weeks by ultrasound and neither has recommended a blood test earlier than 12 weeks
