What Do Girls Need in Mothers?

I feel like my relationships with my daughters are not as great as with my sons. My girls are 4 and 12. I love them just as much as my boys but my mother was never around, so I’m wondering if that’s affecting my relationships with my own girls. I want to be better. My 12yo says she thinks I’m the best mom in the world but I do not feel that way about myself. I feel like I could be more patient with them and do more together. I have 5 boys so they are a bit outnumbered and I’m usually busy breaking up a boy fight or doing their laundry (again) and I also work. But I’m not making excuses. I want to do better for the girls. Or at least feel better about our relationships. 💕
