Trying to conceive while breastfeeding.

My daughter is currently 2 years and 4 months old and i am still breastfeed. I had an iud placed right after i gave birth and removed it febuary of this year. I started getting regular periods right after the removal and i have been trying to conceive since then but i still haven’t got lucky it’s been 6 months. Does any one know if theres a chance that the breastfeeding might be keeping me from getting pregnant or what could be the problem? My period is supposed to come on the 19 of this month i believed and i just ovulated 2 days ago i had sex with my husband everyday of my most fertile days according to the app so im crossing my fingers that this is finally the month. Has anyone experienced this?
