He started having urinary issues but wont see his dr.

Hello!

I’m just looking for a little advice. My boyfriend just turned 45 and I just turned 27. I love this man with all my heart. We have 2 kids together. Our youngest being 8 months old. The past few months I’ve noticed he’s peeing himself a little. Not full blown like the first time this happened it was a spot on his boxers I noticed. We joked around about it because he had a little bit to drink so he thought it was from that. Then it happened again but the spot on his boxers was much bigger. He cleaned himself up, I asked him if he needed anything he said no. We didn’t joke around this time because there was no obvious explanation. This morning when I woke up I saw him practically run to the bathroom and come back to the bedroom without boxers on and he grabbed new ones. I asked if he was ok and he said I just woke up and accidentally pissed in the bed. We noticed it was on the sheet. We cleaned up the bed, changed the sheet and he cleaned himself up while I did that. When he got back in bed he said I must be getting old if I’m peeing the bed like (our toddler). I lightly suggest maybe going to see his dr so they can help and he refuses. Then he mentioned something about getting depends but I couldn’t tell if he was joking or not. So I said that I had to pick up a couple things from target and didn’t mind picking them up so he didn’t need to worry about having an accident. He told me not to get them.

I just want to help him and make him feel comfortable. He gets embarrassed extremely easy so I think that’s why he won’t go to see his dr. But I had also said to him that I didn’t care if he wants them, I just want him comfortable. Nobody would know he wares them. He still shot it down.

I just don’t want it to be a serious problem before makes an appointment because this might be nothing but it just started over the past few months. The last thing I said was I love you for you and nothing will change that.
