This is a weird post…
So I’m in my mid 30’s. Pregnant with my 2nd… due any day now. I’ve felt super lonely this pregnancy … and I have a feeling it will intensify after having my son. Being a stay at home mom is tough (I have my two weeks notice not long ago as I don’t have mat leave…. so I don’t know when I’ll be back to work) and breastfeeding is super demanding.
I have friends. But not a super close friend who I talk to on a regular basis, confide in, see and trust. I moved to a new state for my husband so my bff lives farrrr away. I’ve been here for 10 years and haven’t made a close connection to anyone.
How the heck do you make friends in your mid 30s ? I’m not on Facebook or Instagram.
I know I can’t rely on my husband for my social life. Love him… but having women friends is just needed. It’s a whole different dynamic that I know is important. The girls I know here just aren’t my 100% jam.
Does anyone out there manage without having a close friend nearby to visit and hangout with? Does anyone else have a hard time truly connecting to other women?
Im just up with insomnia and was thinking….
