this is SO embarrassing. i didn’t even see it, and she’s kind of mad. i told my bf not to give me one and i didn’t think he did, but it showed up earlier. my parents are both super religious, and my mom said “so this is why you want to go on birth control? to have sex and not get pregnant?”. (i have BAD period and hormonal acne and i’ve been on accutane, topicals, and oral medications and my derm has mentioned BC several times, but my mom shut it down. not to mention she was on BC as a teen). i told her that i can’t even wear tampons so i wouldn’t be having sex any time soon. she said it doesn’t matter, if you’re horny enough you’ll do it, no matter how bad it hurts. This is so irritating. she knows we do things now so why not put me on bc to be safe?
