Medical abortion did not work

I was fully against a surgical abortion. My doctor knew that and said I had time to do medical. I did and a week later he said I’m still pregnant and have to do the surgery. I did a d&c two weeks ago and my follow up is tomorrow. I am very worried my doctor caused my body harm. Should I be worried
