Brittany calls in saying she’s been dating Jared for a month (both are 21-live at home with parents). Jared has told her that growing up his mom was controlling and abusive. Jared text Brittany that he is going to kill his mother. Sending her paragraphs about how he is going to do it. This is later determined because his mom didn’t like his music playing in her house once he is calm and collected. He says he saw red when he was texting but wasn’t serious.

To Brittany this seems like an extreme reaction, but also worrisome at the level of anger.

Should Brittany be worried? Should she run now and this is a 🚩 or is she overreacting?
