so i just found out i’m about 6 weeks pregnant (my last period was 9/10/22 & my cycle is 31 days long)…. i’ve had 2 previous miscarriages, 1 in 2018 & 1 in 2019.

around 5 weeks i started having light brown spotting (TMI: only when i wipe, usually after pooping or straining, no need for a pad). it’s been about 5 days of it now. it’s not getting heavier, no clots, hasn’t turned pink/red.

i went to the hospital after the 3rd day of it. they did an exam, ultrasound, & blood tests.

results:

gestational sac: 6.3mm (measuring 5w1d)

yolk sac: 3.1mm

hcg level: 3776

cervix closed

no fluid in cul de sac

small amount of brown blood

possible posterior submucosal fibroid less than 2cm

*doctors don’t know exactly what’s causing the bleeding, they said it may turn into a miscarriage or it could be normal & just implantation bleeding or from hormonal changes. but im so early at this point they aren’t sure & don’t have answers.

i was just wondering if anyone else experienced light spotting at the beginning of their pregnancy & didn’t miscarriage. my other miscarriages weren’t like but i know they can all be different, so im just anxious lol. i know it’s just a waiting game at this point but it’s constantly on my mind.
