Today I had my last doctors appointment, I’ve been in l&d every week for 7 weeks in SO MUCH PAIN!! My “contractions” wouldn’t show up on the monitor and I never knew why, today I found out I have an inflamed appendix that apparently has been inflamed for weeks now and no one ever thought to check. The l&d doctors would say there’s nothing wrong and get ANNOYED at me when I came in. They tried to see if I could wait until 37 weeks pregnant to do a c section, I hate to say but I begged them to go ahead and take her and my appendix because I’m in agony. I’ve been throwing up and having diarrhea for 2 weeks now and apparently they weren’t concerned and said it was a symptom of pregnancy and to drink more water. I’m so upset they didn’t catch this before now. They’re giving her some steroid shots for her lungs and I’ll be getting my c section within 24 hours. Please no judgement.
