Will switching BC have a negative impact?

I started taking birth control a few months back. I was on the combined pill for two months but symptoms were not great so switched to the mini pill to try it out. I took the mini pill for a month but it dried out my vagina so much that I switched back to the combined pill this month. I haven't yet got my period from the mini pill but as the instructions for switching said to take it without a break I did so. Will this switching cause an adverse effect?
