Advice please

Need advice on this.. I had sex a day before my ovulation date In (September ). Took a test got a BFN. Then this month I got my “period a week earlier then i normally do.. it was heavy, bright red for 2 days, brown I had cramps but no clots. It lasted a total of 3 days.. I’ve been having vivid dreams and heartburn ever since didn’t think much of it but

something just told me to take a test because my period never that short so I did and I got a faint line, could my “ period “ have been heavy implantation ?
