Would this bother you?

My bf and I are long distance across the world with no visits for 4 1/2 months. We are halfway done. The only way we talk is text and FaceTime, but it’s really starting to hurt that he never says I look pretty or nice while we’re on FaceTime. And rarely over text. I have brought it up here and there, but he’s extremely stressed with life and we agreed to set aside relationship troubles for awhile. What does this mean? Would this bother you?

Long distance is hard, specially if you can’t see other a lot.
Relationship troubles always needs to be addressed and worked on immediately. If you cover it up, it’ll boil over and make the relationship break.

Why do you feel the need for him to tell you you're pretty? And why do you consider him not saying it an issue. Not judging you in any way, just asking in order to better understand what you're going through and try to help you.
