Adoption

Does anyone here know what the requirements are & what the process is like for adoption in South Carolina? I am 23 years old, engaged to my childrens father, I have a 2 year old girl and 3 year old boy. We have been talking about wanting to adopt for the longest, we want a 3rd child, and seeing as though I have no desire to have a 3rd c section, we feel adoption could be the best option for our family. I also think adopting a child who is older than my other 2 would be a great fit. I was adopted when I was a year old, and I have always had so much respect for the people that raised me bc they stepped up the plate when no one else would. I want to be able to do that for someone else, plus it would complete my family. Anyways, if anyone has any information for me, I would so much appreciate it! ❤️
