When do you take your toddler to the doctor for a stomach virus?
Yesterday my 2 year old started throwing up, once in the afternoon, then again after he ate a banana. His behavior was relatively normal though, maybe a little more tired. He slept all night without issue, drank a lot of water, and this morning has awful diarrhea and a temperature of 100.6F. He did eat a little bit of a peach and kept that down but he’s just lying on the couch on his iPad, has no interest in playing. Should I take him to an urgent care or just keep him hydrated? Sorry, none of my kids have ever had a stomach virus miraculously. I’m assuming that’s what it is.
