Should I doubt him?

My husband told me he offered his coworker a ride because she mentioned she would take a taxi back home at night ( Their shift ended around 10pm). The ride was 30 mins. When he got home he told me he was just being nice. I mean he could’ve lied about it all and didn’t mention it in the first place but I’m worried there was more to it than him just being nice. I didn’t ask questions or give attitude bcz i want him to always be honest and open up to me so i acted normal. I trust him but I’m scared there’s something else.. what do u guys think?
