IUD removal, trying to conceive

I had my Mirena IUD removal on October 7. I had the IUD for almost 5 years I didn’t get a period for about 2 years. I spotted after the IUD removal, that’s not the period right? When should I expected a period after the removal. I know they say you could get pregnant after IUD removal but no luck yet always negative test and no period yet either. Any advice?
