Was I groped?

I attend a uni and went out to the bars this weekend. I squeezed my way through to the dance floor (bc it was so crowded) following a few friends of mine, and some guy gripped and pinched my left ass cheek till I was able to wiggle through the crowd away from it.

I couldn’t identify who it was because it was dark and packed with people. I’ve never been groped, so is that what that is? Definitely didn’t feel safe/ too great after it… but I’m not sure if I’m being dramatic for it or not. Just kinda embarrassing/ worthlessness inducing.
