Are NIPT results accurate enough to announce gender?
We want to announce to both sides of the family in person at holiday time (my family at Thanksgiving & my in laws at Christmas) since we aren’t having a gender reveal party. I should get my results back this week
At Thanksgiving I’ll be 15 weeks and at Christmas I’ll be 19 weeks, so I won’t quite have had my ultrasound that confirms gender.
My question is, are the NIPT results accurate and can be gone off of? Got it done at 11 weeks.
