does frequent braxton hicks mean baby will come early/fast?

i just entered my third trimester and for the past month i would say i have been getting frequent braxton hicks. 
i’m just wondering, does this mean that baby will come before due date? or that labour will be quick? any personal experience you can share?

I had braxton hicks starting at 20 weeks. I delivered at 38w6d - start to finish was 10 hours - ftm

No, Braxton Hicks usually mean your dehydrated more than anything else. They don’t effect anything to do with your labour. 
If you get real contractions even off and on that can be a sign there are changes happening to your cervix. That’s why they say if you ever get 4+ contracts in a hour before you’re full term you should go to L&D to be monitored.

I hoped that with my first too because I had them so early and often, I thought for sure all those “practice contractions” would have my uterus toned up! I went a week overdue and labor was 23 hours 🤣

No. A lot of times especially early Braxton Hicks is due to dehydration. It's so easy for your uterus to become dehydrated during pregnancy. If you're having them often you need to lay down when it happens and drink drink drink water. Try to hydrate double than what you already are to prevent them from happening so often.

I don’t think it’s connected. Just dehydrated and needing to rest! 
I will say though with my first two babies I got them a TON. Baby #1 was born at 38 weeks and I was in labor for 9 hours. Baby #2 was born at 37 weeks and I was in labor for 3 hours 🤷🏼‍♀️
