Sex before ovulation

Just looking for hope here…

My husband was sent to work for Hurricane last month ttc and sex last time was 4 days before LH surg and 3 days after. Clearly no luck.

My husband was just sent to work this incoming hurricane yesterday. I got my opk positive yesterday. We were able to get a dance in the day before. I can’t even confirm ovulation with temps bc I couldn’t track this month bc I was sick for 6 days!

Any positive stories of conceiving when you ovulate 3-4 days after sex? 🙃
