Disagreeing about name?

My partner and I were mentioning names about a month ago and I mentioned a fantasy name I liked and he said he was ok with it.
I grew attached to the name over the last month and I really feel it’s the one. But yesterday when I mentioned again that I still love that name, he revealed that he was trying to be nice and it actually doesn’t feel right for him. I’ve been looking at lists of names all day yesterday and today and nothing feels right. How do I let it go? I feel so heartbroken about it.

It’s hard when you love a name so much and he could care less about it 😅. Good thing is there are a million names. And you will find one you both can feel good about. And if you don’t, it’s okay to compromise and say, if you let me name this one, you can name the next. But good luck!!

Keep trying to find something together…but by the time your baby is born, you will have known them a whole 9 months longer than your spouse.

My husband and I have such different taste in names… with our kids I ended up writing a list and had him narrow it down to ones he didn’t ‘mind’ and then sitting on those for a while and revisiting them later on 😂 I had to be very gentle about it lol!

I’m kinda I’m carrying this baby and we are 60/40 lol . 
We had 2 girls so far . 
We each made lists over months and then in the last month or two compared them . Within our lists there were a few names with both had . Then we would narrow it down to that and My pick lol
