unprotected sex, ovulation, bleeding

I had unprotected sex a few days before ovulation. 9 days later i started spotting & had a very very light period but I’d say a little more than ovulation bleeding. This lasted for 3-4 days on and off (longer than my usual periods) and finished the day before my period was actually due. It’s now 1 day since period was due and I have period symptoms but no period. Does this seem like I might’ve ovulated a different day and could possibly be pregnant? Was it breakthrough bleeding? Or just an early period.

I have taken a test today and it’s negative.
