How to get my one year old to eat?

My son is 14 months old and barely eats since switching him formula to cows milk I have been stressed that he’s not getting all he needs he’s been staying between 19 & 20lbs but he will only take a few bites of food before he is shaking his head no the only thing he’ll eat more than a few of is crackers and that’s still if he’s in the mood. Any tips to get him to eat would be greatly appreciated

It sound to me like your baby is not hungry. Not sure what is your feeding pattern but I would suggest to maybe give less milk or before you give your baby milk try giving other foods? Let him play with different kind of food as well so he is getting familiar with texture and colours and maybe more interested in it. 
Not sure if you eat together or not. If yes then great and continue doing it so you are going to give an example and the baby will try to follow, and if you do not eat together then I would advise to start doing it.

You can get toddler formula if you’re really concerned. Sounds like he’s probably a healthy weight for his age (they start growing way more slowly after the 1 year mark). It’s definitely just a phase, my daughter goes through times like that as well. A few bites of everything here and there is probably all he feels hungry for. Do you think he might drink smoothies?

How much milk are you giving? 
Most of the cases where babies aren’t taking to solids well at 1 is from too much milk filling them up. 
It’s best to keep milk consumption to 16oz or less. Offer water with meals. Make sure milk is served far enough time away from a solid meal. If you give it too soon after babe will hold out and not eat solids knowing they will get milk. If you serve it right before, babe fills up on milk.

my daughter was similar…but i still nursed so she was probably getting just full enough off the boob then not in mood to eat

My son is 2 and we still have this problem. He goes through phases of eating quite a lot and then barely eating at all. Growth spurts I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️ I try not to worry too much. If he is hungry he will eat. I kept my son on breastmilk until 15-16 months to help ease the transition.
