Has anyone had this happen?

My son was born yesterday and his right testicle isn’t down yet, is this normally a thing that fixes on its own or will he eventually need surgery?!

It’s normal but if it doesn’t drop he’ll need surgery to fix it. My boyfriend had to have surgery when he was a year or two old cause his didn’t drop on its own.

It can drop but if it doesn’t they will do surgery . My one year old nephew had the surgery done months ago. It went well!

Normal some boys  don’t drop until atleast 6 months old if not then he may need surgery I wouldn’t worry too much otherwise definitely bring it up on his first visit.

So my son even at his 2 YEAR APPT, it doesn’t stay down. He has not needed surgery. Just gotta check it every month or so
